Nick and Martin (re 11.47 BST) laying into Keely as if she's invincible and thought she was entitled to a win. She's had serious injuries and there were doubts she could ever be there. She's young and has plenty of time - can we lay off the verbal beatings for a bit?

Redemption for Cole Hocker! The American was disqualified ahead of the 1500m final for jostling but he's got his gold medal in the 5000m!

From the middle of the bunch, he opened up his sprint with about 200m to go and screamed past Isaac Kimeli to win in 12:58.30.

Belgium's Kimeli ran a season's best of 12:58.78 for the silver medal, with France's Jimmy Gressier third.

Defending champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen comes in 10th while Great Britain's George Mills is 16th.

I'm still at a loss as to why George Mills is struggling at this pace.

I know he's studied a lot of races so one of those scenarios was going to be this [fast pace]. I know it's rare that it would be this pace in a final but he still should be going for it.

Ethiopia's Hagos Gebrhiwet hit the front around 2200m, ahead of American duo Grant Fisher and Nico Young.

Those three and Biniam Mehary are leading the group into the final 2000m.

But with the pace winding up, George Mills has been distanced at the back of the race. Jakob Ingebrigtsen is also off the pace.

    Women's high jump final

Morgan Lake has failed at her first effort at 1.97m. The GB captain has two more attempts at that height.

Reigning Olympic and world champion and world record holder Yarislava Mahuchikh, and Nicola Olyslagers, the two-time world indoor champion and double Olympic silver medallist, have both gone clear.

There are men in this field that are starting to look tired at this pace which is early but the conditions from the 1500m zapped it from the men. It's better now but they still have that to recover from.

1000m down and it's still the Americans who are well represented at the front of the group.

Grant Fisher and Nico Young did pull away but Ethiopia's Hagos Gebrhiwet turned up the pace to reel them back in.

George Mills is still at the back.

Keely beaten by a young Kenyan mum, who’d have thought. Had her wings clipped by Hunter Bell too

The questions on Keely are back on until Beijing 2027 and then Los Angeles. The talk was the world record, now she has to get back on form over the next two years.

George Mills has a great opportunity here, he's been running well and putting the work in. He says about the mundane work he puts in time and time again and it would be great to see him continue that trajectory in this final.

That's what we want and we need more medals for the team.

Olympic 1500m champion Cole Hocker is seeking to recover from disappointment earlier in the championships.

The American was disqualified from his medal-winning event for jostling with opponents in the home straight.

Jakob Ingebrigtsen of Norway, the defending double world champion, is in the field having recovered from injury, but was last of the qualifiers in his Friday heat.

Hagos Gebrhiwet of Ethiopia, a two-time world medallist, is also on the start line.

  18. British record holder Mills targets worlds medalpublished at 11:44 BST

    Men's 5,000m final

Great Britain's George Mills is on the hunt for a medal in the men's 5,000m, having recovered from a fractured wrist suffered in June.

Mills has come a long way in the last year since his showing at the 2024 Olympics, most memorable for a heated on-track exchange with a rival following a collision in the heats.

Since then, the son of former England international footballer Danny Mills has broken the British record in the 5,000m, taking four and a half seconds off Sir Mo Farah's time which had stood for 14 years.

He qualified for today's final by finishing fourth in his heat on Friday.

We got the two medals and they would have ran through 400m and 600m faster than they'd ever ran.

Georgia to run a lifetime best in a final - absolutely incredible and validation.

Keely will be disappointed with a bronze but when you look at the time she ran and keeping calm to deliver it. A brilliant bronze medal in the way the race was set up.
