    The UK Athletics Championships head to Birmingham and BBC Sport will be showing live coverage of all the action from the UK’s second city.

    Making a return to Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium for the first time since 2019; the 2025 UK Championships serve as a precursor to the European Championships that take place there next year.

    The British Athletics Championships this time serve as a key qualifying event for the World Athletics Championships taking place in September in Tokyo. GB stars are in action across the weekend, starting on Saturday morning and finishing with the Men’s 1500m final on Sunday. The championships will also include various para-athletics events as they get set for the 2025 World Championships in New Delhi, India.
