UFC's controversial rise

BBC Sport's Patrick Gearey visits a Manchester gym to meet Ultimate Fighting Championship fighters Ross Pearson and Rosi Sexton.

Manchester-based Sexton recently became the first British woman to compete in the female division of the UFC.

Despite the sport's growing popularity, critics such as brain injury charity Headway are calling for the sport to be banned in the UK.

The UFC say "The safety of UFC athletes is of the upmost importance, they have rigorous medical testing in place and have a very impressive safety record".
