A tribute to David Coleman

Colleague Steve Cram narrates a tribute to legendary sports broadcaster David Coleman, who has died at the age of 87.

Coleman was the first presenter of Grandstand and spent over 40 years at the BBC before retiring from broadcasting after the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.

He first appeared on air for the BBC in 1954, covering 11 Olympic Games and six football World Cups.
