David Bernstein: Ashley Cole free to play for England after apology

Chairman David Bernstein reveals Ashley Cole has showed "genuine remorse" in apologising for an offensive tweet in which he criticised the Football Association.

Speaking from the new National Football Centre in Burton, Bernstein states that the FA have accepted Cole's apology and that manager Roy Hodgson is free to pick the Chelsea defender for England duty.

The left-back, 31, was charged with misconduct on Monday for using an expletive to describe the governing body after the John Terry racism case.
