World Athletics 2013: Robert Heffernan on winning gold

Irish 50km walk gold medallist Robert Heffernan says his victory "was like a dream" and that he was determined to create his own "Rocky story".

Having finished fourth at the London 2012 Olympics, Heffernan credits the support of his wife Marian for his improvement.

The gold medal is the first claimed by an Irish male athlete at the World Championships since Eamonn Coghlan won the 5,000m title 30 years ago.
