Ciara Mageean says winning a medal at next year's Commonwealth Games would be special
Ciara Mageean says she will target her training after this year's outdoor summer season to ensure she is in peak condition for the Commonwealth Games in the Australian city of Gold Coast.
Speaking at a BBC event in Salford on Tuesday exactly one year before the Games, the Northern Irishwoman revealed she is back in full training again after an Achilles injury forced her to drop out of the 1500m final at last month's European Indoor Championships.
