Carl Frampton says Scott Quigg bout 'must now happen'

Carl Frampton says he wants to fight Scott Quigg next after impressively defending his IBF super-bantamweight title in Belfast on Saturday night.

Frampton produced a fifth-round stoppage of American Chris Avalos in his first title defence in front of a vocal home crowd at the Odyssey Arena.

"It (a fight against Quigg) should have happened a long time ago. It has to happen now," said Frampton, 28.
