Irish boxer Paddy Barnes chasing gold medal at Rio Games

Belfast light-flyweight Paddy Barnes is aiming to secure a gold medal at the Rio Games after winning bronze at the last two Olympics in Beijing and London.

Double Commonwealth champion Barnes will start as one of the favourites to emerge the victor in his weight division in Brazil.

The 29-year-old will be competing in an Olympics for the final time but has yet to make a decision about whether to turn professional.
