NI cyclist Martyn Irvine targets Commonwealth Games medals
Northern Ireland's most successful track cyclist Martyn Irvine says he will take in "a maximum of four events" at this month's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, including the road race and the points and scratch races on the track.
Newtownards man Irvine explains that he is enjoying "a nice lifestyle" in Colorado and hopes to pick up some medals at the Games to add to his achievements of recent years.
Irvine also commends the impact which the coverage of the Giro d'Italia made worldwide and added that the construction of a Velodrome in Northern Ireland would drum up further interest in the sport.
