Andrew Strauss should stay as England captain - Gooch

England batting coach Graham Gooch says captain Andrew Strauss still has a lot to contribute to the Test team and he does not think he will step down as skipper.

Gooch says the Middlesex batsman is still working hard to improve his game and is still the best man alongside Alastair Cook to open the batting for England.

Strauss has only scored one century in 48 Test innings and has admitted he is frustrated by his own form.
