Kevin Pietersen has apologised - Andrew Strauss

Retired England captain Andrew Strauss says he has cleared the air with former team-mate Kevin Pietersen.

Controversy has surrounded Pietersen since he was dropped from the Test team for sending provocative text messages to South Africa players during the Test series.

But ex-Middlesex batsman Strauss says Pietersen has apologised and the two remain friends, adding that he would happily have a beer with him.
