Ashes 2015: Australia need to improve - Michael Clarke

Australia captain Michael Clarke says England deserve a lot of "credit and respect" after they completed a 169-run victory in the first Ashes Test to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Clarke says his side must improve in "all areas" of the game if they are to strike back in the series, as they did not play as well as England did in Cardiff.

But, Clarke remains confident in his squad and hopes the defeat will give them a "good kick up the backside" ahead of the second Test at Lord's.
