Pakistan v England: Alastair Cook on unbeaten 168

England captain Alastair Cook is "proud" but "weary" after batting all day for an unbeaten 168 on the third day of the first Test against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi.

A "good pitch to bat on" yielded Cook's eighth Test century in Asia, a feat matched only by South African Jacques Kallis for batsmen outside the continent.

England trail Pakistan by 233 runs after reaching 290-3 at the close of play, with Joe Root unbeaten on three alongside Cook.
