Geraint Thomas pleased with Tour de France performance

After finishing 31st overall in his third Tour de France, Geraint Thomas says he is happy with the progress he is making.

In an interview with BBC sports news correspondent Mat Slater, Thomas also praises fellow Brit Mark Cavendish, who claimed the green jersey for the top sprinter after sealing his 20th career stage win in Paris.

Cadel Evans took the yellow jersey on Sunday to become Australia's first Tour winner.
