World Road Cycling: Cavendish thanks GB team after world road race win

Mark Cavendish thanks the Great Britain team for a perfectly executed ride which put him in position to win the men's road race world title, external, Britain's first since Tom Simpson in 1965.

The eight-man squad controlled the 266km race throughout, culminating in a thrilling sprint finish which the 26-year-old won ahead of Australia's Matt Goss and German Andre Greipel.
