Mark Cavendish & Bradley Wiggins to ride for Jonathan Tiernan-Locke

Defending world road race champion Mark Cavendish says he "does not have a chance" of defending his title and reveals the team will be backing Tour of Britain winner Jonathan Tiernan-Locke.

Last year, Cavendish became the first Briton to win the race in 46 years, but does not believe the hilly 261km Dutch course will suit him.

Tiernan-Locke triumphed in the Tour of Britain earlier this month, becoming the first British rider to secure overall victory in 19 years.
