Dave Brailsford favours Chris Froome for 2013 Tour de France success

Team Sky boss Dave Brailsford confirms cyclist Chris Froome "will focus on the Tour de France" in 2013, saying the course will suit his strengths over Bradley Wiggins's.

Froome helped Wiggins win the 2012 Tour, but it seems the pair will switch roles at Team Sky for next year's race as it is likely to favour top climbers such as Kenyan-born Froome.

Brailsford says Wiggins will instead focus on next May's Giro d'Italia, as the route "looks really good for him" to succeed.
