Laura Trott & Joanna Rowsell on new Wiggle Honda team

Olympic champions Laura Trott and Joanna Rowsell say they are looking forward to taking "a massive step" for women's cycling as a new road team is launched.

The Wiggle Honda team will be 12-strong - including Trott and Rowsell, who are taking up road cycling in addition to the track.

The team is backed by Tour de France champion Sir Bradley Wiggins, through his foundation.
