Road World Championships: Who are Sir Bradley Wiggins' rivals?

The eagerly awaited time trial at this year's Road World Championships takes place on Wednesday in Tuscany with Great Britain's Sir Bradley Wiggins heading a stellar list of contenders.

Defending champion Tony Martin from Germany, four-time world champion Fabian Cancellara, who is nicknamed "Spartacus", America's Taylor Phinney and Briton Alex Dowsett will be among those trying to beat Wiggins to gold.

Watch live coverage of the world time trial on the red button and on the BBC Sport website from 12:15 BST on Wednesday 25 September.
