Lance Armstrong doping: Hein Verbruggen denies 'cover-up'

Former UCI president Hein Verbruggen denies Lance Armstrong's claims that he helped the American "cover-up" a failed drugs test.

The Dutchman tells BBC Sport's Matt Slater "there was never a failed test" and that Armstrong is "mixing it up" with an "adverse analytical finding", which never produced a positive result.

Armstrong was stripped of his seven Tour de France and banned for life after a US Anti-Doping Agency (Usada) report found him guilty of running "the most sophisticated and successful doping programme the sport has ever seen".
