World Track Championships 2015: GB fail to qualify in team sprint

Great Britain fail to qualify for the team sprint medal races in both the women's and the men's events at the World Track Championships in Paris.

Jess Varnish and Victoria Williamson could only finish eighth in a time of 33.583 seconds, over one and a half seconds slower than the fastest qualifiers, Russia.

Britain's men also finished eighth after the third rider, Callum Skinner, could not keep up with the pace set by team-mates Philip Hindes and Jason Kenny.
