Paralympics: Melissa Reid hopes for Rio medal success

The paratriathlon makes its debut at the Rio Olympics in 2016, and Melissa Reid is currently ranked world number one in her category.

Reid has been winning international titles since 2011, but tells BBC Sport's Kim Waddle that she now harbours hopes of adding a Paralympic title to her collection.

The visually impaired athlete is a strong medal contender, and trains with her sister and Cornish swimming champion Courtney-Lee.

The 18-year-old swimmer is hoping for medal success of her own, at the Association of Colleges Sport National Championships.
