Hope Powell optimistic squad will be fresh for World Cup

England women's coach Hope Powell is optimistic the scheduling of this year's inaugural Women's Super League will mean her players are "fresh" rather than under-prepared going into the World Cup tournament in Germany later in June.

The new league is currently in a mid-season break, allowing Powell full access to her squad in the build-up to the tournament.
