Captain John Terry says there are no automatic selections for the England team and competition for places was responsible for an impressive 3-0 win over Bulgaria in the Euro 2012 qualifier on Friday night in Sofia.

Two goals from Wayne Rooney and one from Gary Cahill - all before half time in Sofia - proved enough to keep England's qualification on track.

England's remaining qualifiers are against Wales on 6 September and Montenegro on 7 October.
