Adam Johnson accepts Manchester City squad rotation

Adam Johnson accepts that he may not be a regular first-team starter at Manchester City, despite scoring what opposition manager Steve Kean described as a "wonder goal" in the 4-0 win at Blackburn.

Johnson says that the depth of City's playing resources means he has to grasp the opportunities he does get to stake a claim for a regular place.

The England winger also believes that the manner of the victory at Ewood Park proves that the squad is united, after the controversy of Carlos Tevez apparently refusing to play in the midweek loss to Bayern Munich.
