Craig Bellamy fully supports Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsay over GB bid

Ex-Wales captain Craig Bellamy says he would back Welsh players who want to represent Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympics.

The Football Association of Wales [FAW] is opposed to a British team, but Tottenham's Gareth Bale, external and Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey, external have been pictured wearing Team GB supporters' shirt.

The Liverpool striker says he does "not understand" the anger over Welsh players involvement with Team GB as it is such an "honour" to compete at the Olympics and would benefit the Wales international side.
