Roberto Mancini plays down Man City's Champions League chances

Manager Roberto Mancini plays down Manchester City's hopes of winning the Champions League, saying he does not know if it is possible as it is the club's first time taking part in the competition.

The City boss describes the tournament as a "strange competition" and insists his main aim is simply to qualify from Group A with victory over Napoli on Tuesday.

Mancini warns City that even though they have improved since their 1-1 draw with Napoli in the group opener, Tuesday's away match will be a "very hard" game.
