Queens Park Rangers resolve encourages Mark Hughes

QPR manager Mark Hughes praises a '"mentally strong" performance from his new side in a 3-1 home Premier League win over bottom club Wigan.

Goals from Heidar Helguson, Akos Buzsaky and Tommy Smith lifted QPR out of the relegation zone and give Hughes his first Premier League victory since taking charge at Loftus Road, and only Rangers' second home win of the season.
