Ferdinand and Terry handshake is important - Villas-Boas

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas says it is important that Anton Ferdinand shakes John Terry's hand at Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round tie, and believes the Blues' captain has been advised to do so.

It is the first time the clubs have met since Terry was charged with racially abusing Ferdinand in October's derby.

The Blues boss says he has long since "written off" winning the Premier League title, so will be focusing on the FA Cup and the Champions League for the rest of the season.
