Harry Redknapp is "nation's choice" to replace Fabio Capello - Gary Lineker
Former England striker Gary Lineker says the Football Association must appoint a successor to Fabio Capello as soon as possible and says that Harry Redknapp is the "nation's choice" to take the job.
Lineker is not surprised by Capello's decision to resign and suggests Tottenham boss Redknapp could take on the job on a part-time basis until the end of the Premier League season in May, calling it "a perfect fit if they can make it work".
England are due to play the Netherlands at Wembley on 29 February as they continue their build-up to Euro 2012.
