Terry Connor Wolves appointment defended by Morgan and Moxey

Wolves owner Steve Morgan and chief executive Jez Moxey defend the process which led to the appointment of Terry Connor as manager.

On Friday assistant boss Connor was promoted to manager until the end of the season and the pair say they are not embarrassed by the number of other candidates that turned down the role.

The club sacked Mick McCarthy on 13 February in the wake of the previous day's 5-1 home defeat by Black Country rivals West Bromwich Albion.
