Alan Shearer not surprised by Andre Villas-Boas sacking

Alan Shearer feels things had not gone well for Andre Villas-Boas from the start of his time as Chelsea boss and says he is not suprised to see the Portuguese manager has been sacked after just nine months in charge.

The former England striker feels maybe some of the more senior players at the club did not give their all for Villas-Boas as Chelsea have been underperfoming this season.

Shearer is sure there will be a lot of managers interested in taking charge at Stamford Bridge but says Champuions League qualification looks out of reach for this season.
