Andre Villas-Boas 'could not win' at Chelsea - Robbie Savage
BBC pundit Robbie Savage believes Andre Villas-Boas found himself in a no-win position at Chelsea, as it is announced that the Portuguese manager has been sacked by Chelsea after less than a year in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Savage says the young manager found himself in an impossible position coming into a dressing room of ageing but established players.
Chelsea's decision comes on the back of Saturday's 1-0 defeat by West Bromwich Albion and a run of just three Premier League wins in their last 12 games.
Former Chelsea midfielder Roberto di Matteo has been put in charge until the end of the season.
