Stoke's Peter Crouch revels in 'best' goal of his career

Striker Peter Crouch believes his sumptuous volley, which helped Stoke to a 1-1 home draw against Manchester City, was the "best" of his career.

The England international hopes he can still make the squad for this summer's European Championships if he continues to play well at Stoke.

The volley had put the Potters ahead but the visitors drew level when Yaya Toure's 35-yard strike deflected into the corner off Ryan Shawcross.
