Roberto Mancini vexed by 'stupid' Sergio Aguero injury

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says Sergio Aguero will not be fit to face Sunderland on Saturday, and says he is disappointed to lose his "top striker" to a "stupid" injury.

However, the Italian does say that Aguero's fellow Argentine Carlos Tevez is ready to play more games - the striker has made two appearances as a substitute since patching up his relationship with the club.

Mancini also says that he enjoys the "mind games" that go on between managers and adds that he thinks its "normal" because it happens in Italy all the time.
