Pep Guardiola's Barcelona exit 'due to pressure and fatigue'

BBC Sport's Richard Conway believes "pressure and fatigue" are the main reasons for Pep Guardiola leaving as Barcelona manager.

Conway outlines the factors behind Guardiola's decision not to renew his rolling one-year contract and thinks that a host of rival teams will be vying for his signature when he decides to return to football.

The 41-year-old, who made 479 appearances for Barca between 1990 and 2001, was appointed in 2008 and has led the Catalan club to 13 trophies.
