Michael Rose keen to secure regular Colchester United place

Colchester defender Michael Rose tells BBC Essex he is hoping for a good season after only making 16 appearances last term.

Rose scored a spectacular 30-yard goal in the 2-2 draw with Portsmouth but said: "I'd have preferred not to have scored and we'd have won the game."
