Players must respect handshakes - Roberto Di Matteo

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo expects his players to "respect" the rules of the Premier League and shake hands with QPR defender Anton Ferdinand.

Matteo says the players must set a "positive example" to fans around the world and believes "football is here to unite, not divide"

In July, Chelsea captain Terry was acquitted of racially abusing Ferdinand in last year's corresponding match.

Although Terry was cleared in court, the former England captain still faces a separate FA charge, which he denies, over the incident. That hearing is expected to begin on 24 September.
