Aston Villa not good enough - Paul Lambert

Paul Lambert says his Aston Villa team were "not good enough" in the second half after letting slip a 1-0 lead at half-time to lose 4-1 at Southampton.

New Villa manager Lambert believes his side "defended too deep" after the break, but says they will "pick themselves up and go again".

Darren Bent's first goal of the season had given Villa a first-half lead, before Southampton hit back after the break.
