John Terry was outstanding for England - Mark Lawrenson
Match of the Day 2 pundit Mark Lawrenson says John Terry will be missed by the national side, after he announced his retirement from international football.
Terry was cleared at Westminster Magistrates' Court in July of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand during a Premier League game, but still faces a Football Association disciplinary hearing over the matter.
The 31-year-old defender has said that he made his decision because the FA had, in pursuing the charges, made his position in the national team "untenable."
