Rio Ferdinand will be dealt with, says Sir Alex Ferguson
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said defender Rio Ferdinand will be "dealt with" for choosing not to wear the Kick It Out T-shirt during the warm-up for their 4-2 win against Stoke.
Ferdinand was the only United outfield player not to wear the top, which is meant to mark the anti-racism campaign group's period of action between 18-29 October.
Ferguson stated that Ferdinand had "embarrassed" him following the Scottish manager's questioning of Reading player Jason Roberts, who announced he would not be wearing the T-shirt in protest at what he perceives to be the campaign group's lack of action in combating racism in football.
