Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers' delight at Reading win

Manager Brendan Rodgers describes as "excellent" Liverpool's first home Premier League win of the season, a 1-0 victory over Reading.

Seventeen-year-old Raheem Sterling scored a "terrific" first-half goal - his first for the club - latching on to Luis Suarez's flick before drilling the ball into the bottom corner.

Rodgers admits there was "a bit of apprehension" as the Reds looked to close the game out, with the former Swansea boss looking for his new side to "manage the ball better".
