Alan Pardew 'proud' of Newcastle in Tyne-Wear derby draw

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says he is "proud" of his team for battling to a 1-1 draw against Sunderland in the Premier League after having a player sent off.

Newcastle, who had Cheick Tiote red-carded for a tackle on Steven Fletcher, controlled the game for long spells despite having a player less but conceded a late goal when Demba Ba deflected the ball into his own net.
