Arsene Wenger criticises positive discrimination in management

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says there should not be a quota of black football managers in England, as candidates should be selected on "competence" alone.

The Gunners boss was reacting after the Professional Footballers' Association issued a six-point action plan to deal with racism.

Among the proposals was an English equivalent of the NFL's 'Rooney Rule', which requires teams to interview one black or ethnic minority candidate for head coaching and senior operation opportunities.
