Arsene Wenger admits the sending off of QPR's Stephane M'Bia helped his side earn a late 1-0 victory at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta scored a dramatic winner shortly after M'Bia was shown red for kicking out at Thomas Vermaelen, and Wenger says he is pleased Arsenal were able to avoid a "crisis" and recover from defeats against Norwich and Schalke.

Wenger gave Jack Wilshere his first start in 17 months, playing the midfielder for 67 minutes, and the Gunners boss dismisses thoughts that fans are expecting too much from him so soon after returning from injury.
