Jack Wilshere 'shocked' to start against QPR

Jack Wilshere admits he was "shocked" to be included in the starting line-up against QPR after being sidelined for 17 months with ankle and knee problems.

The England midfielder, who played 67 minutes in Arsenal's 1-0 win over Rangers, said he was substituted as he felt his muscles starting to "cramp".

He adds that it was "very tough" to watch his teammates play while he was injured, but urges the Gunners to be "mentally strong" as they look to challenge for silverware this season.
