Man City's David Platt defends Roberto Mancini outburst

Manchester City assistant boss David Platt defends Roberto Mancini after he confronted match officials following City's 2-2 draw with Ajax on Tuesday.

The Italian went onto the pitch to remonstrate with referee Peter Rasmussen after City's Sergio Aguero had a goal ruled out for offside, before Mario Balotelli was denied an injury-time penalty.

Platt says Mancini "wears his heart on his sleeve" and the incident has been "exaggerated".
