Andre Villas-Boas says Gareth Bale is not for sale

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas insists that it would be "impossible" for Gareth Bale to move to Real Madrid in the January transfer window.

Villas-Boas was responding to comments by former Spurs midfielder Luca Modric, who suggested the Welshman should follow him to Real Madrid.

The former Chelsea boss says that Modric should focus on his own club rather than speculating about Bale's future.
