Newcastle 3-2 Chelsea: Fabricio Coloccini should have seen red - Benitez

Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez says Fabricio Coloccini should have been sent off for catching Demba Ba in the face with his boot during the Blues' 3-2 defeat to Newcastle on Saturday.

Ba had to be substituted after the incident, and Chelsea went on to let slip a 2-1 lead as Moussa Sissoko secured three points for the home side.

It was Chelsea's first away defeat since 1 December.
